Un logiciel antivirus vous protège
contre un cheval de Troie, un réseau de zombies, une trousse administrateur
pirate, un faux logiciel antivirus, un rançongiciel, et tout type de logiciels
malicieux.
Vous n'utilisez votre PC que pour
naviguer sur le web et ne conservez aucune donnée personnelle sur votre
appareil, dites-vous, alors il n'y a aucun danger, pas vrai? Ce n'est pas si simple.
Si un cheval de Troie accède à
votre appareil et lance un logiciel malveillant, sa première action sera probablement

envoyer des pourriels à vos connaissances sous votre adresse courriel. Mieux encore, il capturera votre accès à
votre compte en ligne ainsi que votre mot de passe et videra votre compte de
banque. C'est un vol de banque sans

un réseau de zombies, le pirate qui contrôle votre ordinateur peut lui faire
faire ce qu'il veut. Il pourra
participer à un déni de service (attaque DDOS, Distributed Denial Of Service), envoyer
des pourriels ou servir de point de distribution poste à poste. Si votre fournisseur Internet détecte des
activités irrégulières ou illégales en provenance de votre ordinateur, il
pourrait couper votre accès à Internet.
Ou imaginez que vous démarrez votre
ordinateur et recevez un message vous demandant une rançon pour accéder à votre
ordinateur. Les rançongiciels sont
livrés de plusieurs façons et même si vous payez la rançon, il n'y a pas de
garanties que votre ordinateur sera libéré.
Vous serez peut être obligé de reformater le tout et réinstaller
Windows.
Si un pirate réussit à infecter
votre ordinateur avec un logiciel malveillant qui récolte vos noms d'usagers et
vos mots de passe et que cela mène à un vol d'identité, vous ne le découvrirez que
lorsque vous recevrez l’état de compte d'une carte de crédit à votre nom que
vous n'avez jamais contracté.
Il existe plusieurs logiciels
antivirus et il existe des versions gratuites qui font un excellent travail de
protection pour votre ordinateur.

annuelle des versions
payées, ainsi que des versions gratuites. Ça vaut la peine de prendre le temps de
télécharger et installer soit une version payée ou une version gratuite d'un
logiciel antivirus, Ne faites pas de

An antivirus

How about

access to your data. Ransomware comes in
many flavours and even if you pay, there is no guarantee that your PC will be
unlocked. You might have to reformat and
reinstall Windows from scratch.
If the
hacker manages to infect your PC with malware that can gather user IDs and
passwords that lead to identity theft, you might not find out until you get a
bill for an unpaid credit card account under your name that you never opened.
There are
several antivirus programs and there are free versions that do a very good job of
protecting your PC.

every year, as they do for the free antivirus
programs. So take the time to download
and install either a paid or free version of antivirus software. Don't get caught unprotected. And keep that program up-to-date.
